Chilled to a cellar temperature, in small glasses 0.03- 0.05 l.
Sort of plum “Pozegaca”, picked during full ripeness, carefully mashed and fermented. Crafted in traditional way on the slopes of Zlatibor mountain, Western Serbia. The distilled brandy of high alcoholic volume is distilled again, gaining alc. 40% v/v. Matured in aok wood for a couple of months in order to calm down all fruity ingredients. Honey is added, so the Slivovitz becomes sweet and less rough.
Each bottle of brandy is unique because it is hand-packed and sealed with wax. Brandy is made up out of small and big secrets in its production and effects of aging in oak barrels and bottled in a traditional way, due to an
old Serbian recipe. "Mednica" ("Nectary") is a special kind of brandy, made of plum brandy, honey and propolis. Together, as an elixir, these ingredients affect the improvement of mood, appetite and health.
Fruity and sweet tones, attacking your palate joined by fruit-based alcohol. Odd combination, pleasantly confusing. Several waves of aroma and flavor, layered.
