Pear brandy of strong taste, colourless with nice fragrance of ripe pear Distilled of ripe Williams pear, most appreciated in the Balkans because of its high sugar content and good aroma. The fruit is smashed and left to ferment. Frutiy ingredients must be preserved during the distilling process. Pear brandies are appreciated in Serbia, but their fruity flavour and smell is not as superior as plum’s. The fruit is selected, smashed and left to ferment. Distillation protects the fruity ingredients of a Slivovitz. Some artificial taste improvers might be added. Very acceptable. The brandy smells like any other "harsh" slivovitz, you know what to expect in your throat when you smell it. Slivovitz in round flask, colour of an oakwood 0.75 l, 40% alc. Plum brandy suitable for traditional toats and aperitifs before meals. Distilled from ripe plum from Central Serbia region. The fruit is selected, smashed and left to ferment. Distillation protects the fruity ingredients of a Slivovitz. Some artificial taste improvers might be added. Probably has some artificial ingredients, although round flask is very good-looking. A little bit stronger smell of a Slivovitz, I don’t like it. It needs more harmonious structure. Takovo is one of the largest Serbian alcoholic beverages distilleries. Famous for its Williams pear brandy.
