There are many people who dream about big things, but rarely are those, who understand how the road to success actually looks like. After all, none has reached the top of the mountain in one step, but a huge number of small steps. And, therefore, it’s a good that the basic idea of MB Impex was to become recognized in its own country, before they started their work on the interenational market. The company was founded in 1996, in Banja Luka, the city located in North Bosnia and Herzegovina. Since the high quality fruit guaranties the highest quality drink, it was very important to have the complete control over the orchards. And, that’s why the company built its own orchard in 2007, in village Nozicko, located 45 kilometers from Banja Luka. Per year, it gives about 600 tons of high quality fruit. Fruit has the main role, but there are a lot of other factors that can’t pass without careful attention. Honey and herbals need to satisfy the highest standards in order to enter the process of creation. The company is focused around creating a limited series of each drink, so they are focused on quality, rather than the quantity. Did you know? From the very beginning, their brandies won many medals, both for quality and design of the package, among which are golden medal at the International Fair in Brisel, and medals at the Novi Sad Fair. Of course, the ambition was far too great, to be satisfied with this. And, therefore, in 2003, it was decided to create a perfect pear brandy (local name is “viljamovka”). It took two years, before “Zlatna Viljamovka” (meaning “Golden Pear Brandy”) faced the light of the day. This brandy soon proved to be the right step, and the company started to work on the complete “Zlatna” series of fruit brandy. Among all other products, “Zlatna Dunja” (meaning “Golden Quince”) proved to be the gold of the entire series: at the International Fair in Moscow, in 2010, it won the golden medal. Besides that, the company won the Grand prize International Fair, as recognition for the entire series. Careful and patient work paid off, and even now, the story of the company doesn’t seem to stop or to slow down. During this year, the company performed the first export of their drinks in China. The owner of the company said: “We are proud of the fact that we managed to share a piece of our culture, to such far away land.”01
