Dragacevka Zlatna

Přírodní zlatá Slivovice z Dragačeva 5 let LUX

Přírodní zlatá Slivovice z Dragačeva 5 let LUX

0.7 l, 43% alc. Completely natural Slivovitz, light and refreshing, of golden colour, aged for 5 years before bottling on the family estate. The Golden Slivovitz of Dragacevo was distilled and aged in completely natural manner. It was distilled of two plum varieites and aged for 5 years in domestic made barrels of sessile oak. All aromas and fragrances are preserved during the destillation and aging process. It returns a time machine and admonishes you how the typical and conservative Slivovitz used to be once upon a time. Light! is my overall review. The first impression is visual: it is so dense that it slides down your glass. The fragrance is Slivovitz-typical: oak, vanilla, alcohol and a bit of acid. Its main strength evolves when you drink it, it is actually unbelieveably light, unobtrusive, it slides down and you don’t feel it at all. The taste reveals aged and first-class Slivovitz. The family estate Curcic is placed in Dragacevo area, Central Serbia, famous for its traditional trumpet festival and excellent Rakija. The small destillery is preserving natural processes of Slivovitz destillation and therefore, their plum brandy revokes the old tastes. After the pits are removed from the fruit, the Slivovitz is distilled in traditional pots that do not remove any of its ingredients.
