Shipping

Croatia

We ship only to Croatia. We ship to any address and any customer located in Croatia. We are responsible for the goods till it reaches the customer.

EU

We do not ship to EU countries, but we shall help you organize the shipping smoothly. When you place your order and finish online payment, we shall lead you to the page where you can order shipping. We shall prepare your products for shipping. The courier will take over your parcel as if we have shipped it.

Place of Trade. The customer from the EU member countries buy our products at our address in Croatia, Eugena Kvaternika 69, 32000 Vukovar. The property, costs and risks are transferred to our EU customers at this sopt.

Preparation for shipping/ Packaging

We prepare the purchased mercahndise for shipping. We pack each bottle separately in polystyrene and cardbox. The bottles will be safely transported. No extra cost is charged for the packaging.

Damage

If it turns out that the courier damaged the merchandise due to our bad packaging, we shall offer either a refund or the replacement products, depending on our buyer’s wish and instruction. We need the courier’s written explanation of the damage, which is normal and convenient to issue.

Parcel lost

If it turns out the parcel is lost during transportation, we shall bear no resposibility. But the courier offers insurance and it can be demanded the courier to pay the insurance to your account. The basic insurance is usually included in the price and covers most of the risks. However, for more valubale parcels, we suggest contracting higher insurance with the courier.

Weights

Each item on our shop has a shipping weight. The total shipping weight is stated in the shopping cart as well. The weight can be used when ordering shipping.

Optimise the parcel for the shipping

Many shipping companies set up the same prices for parcels up to 10 kg (10-20 kg, 20-30 kg). We suggest you optimise your parcel so it fits into upper limit of the shipping price (eg. 9.99 kg, 19.99 kg, etc.). If the bottle weights 1.2 kg and you order 2 bottles (2.4 kg), wou would pay the same shipping as if you ordered 7 bottles. But the shpping price per item would be significantly higher.

Pick up

It is possible to pick up the ordered goods in person from our warehouse in Eugena Kvaternika 69, 32000 Vukovar, Croatia. In that case please do not order shipping after you finish ordering and payment of the goods. If someone else is to pick up the parcel on your behalf, please send us an email at office@tastebrandy.com or we shall contact you to confirm before we hand over the parcel to the third party.

Shipping Cost

We charge shipping cost only for the Croatian destinations (and we deliver to Croatia). We do not charge shipping for the EU countries, as our customers hire their own couriers. But we show estimated costs of our prefered shipping company. The shown estimated costs are just for our customer’s information and may differ from the final shipping cost that will be charged by the shipping company. But the difference is not large.

Suggesting the courier

We only suggest the courier service that has the easiest online ordering and tracking system. Of course, our customer can hire any courier of his own choice. We are just trying to help.

Shipping time

The shipping time will be defined by the courier during the ordering process. It usually takes up to a week (2 working days to Slovenia and Austria, 3 working days to Germany, 5 working days to the UK, Sweden, Denmark, 6 working days to Spain, Finland). We do not bear responsibility if the courier breaks the deadline.
