The Monastery of Zica of the Serbian Orthodox Church, located in Central Serbia (close to the town of Kraljevo), celebrates the national anniversary of 800 years of existence and the uninterrupted mission of the Orthodox religion at this sacred place. The Monastery, together with the Church of the Savior, was built by the first king of Serbia, Stefan the Firstborn. The monastery was destroyed in the 13th century, but was rebuilt by King Stefan Milutin at the beginning of the 14th century. A lot of Serbian history has been written at this place, while nowadays, in this quiet and peaceful women's monastery, in love and with prayers, live and work nuns who are also the main "responsible" artists for the beauty, fragrance, and taste of all these fruit products.
