The Komovica is a type of grape brandy obtained from the remains of fermented grapes after the wine is poured out of it. Also, this brandy is traditionally used to reduce rheumatic pain or to lower the high temperature (by putting wet covering). The healing benefits of this brandy could be made more efficient with some medicinal herbs or forest fruits, in three following ways: by preserving some fruits (e.g.currants) in brandy; putting medical herbs into brandy, or baking brandy with the addition of medical herbs.
