The combination of the herbs and plums creates a therapeutic effect which, through moderate consumption, heals body and soul.   Tok Distillery from Krusevac in Central Serbia was founded by Ljubomir Urosevic, leading technologist of Prokupac for decades. Ljubomir was the designer of the most famous Manastirka Slivovitz and Stomaklija herbal brandy, which were exported in tens of millions of litres. After retirement, Ljubomir founded his own distillery and started to apply his knowledge on his own. His son Ivan is very active at the Agricultural Faculty Zemun and as leading adviser to many Slivovitz producers in Serbia. Their small family-owned distillery produces limited quantities of supreme Slivovitz. The Monastery, together with the Church of the Savior, was built by the first king of Serbia, Stefan the Firstborn. The monastery was destroyed in the 13th century, but was rebuilt by King Stefan Milutin at the beginning of the 14th century.         1 l, 45% alc. Healing herbal brandy, herald of a good appetite. Stomaklija is made as mixture of different fruit brandies with double-distilled plum brandy. Plums are selected, carefully smashed and left to ferment. Then distilled and distilled again. Double distillation of plum brandy makes it more profficient with lower alcoholic content. Extracts of 10 medicinal herbs are added to the brandy, gaining a healing effect.     Stomaklija is intriguing, but not highest-class brandy.
