The Monastery Zica of Serbian Orthodox Church, located in Central Serbia (close to Kraljevo town), celebrates the national anniversary of 800 years of existence and uninterrupted orthodox religion’s mission at this sacred place. The Monastery, together with the Church of the Savior, was built by the first king of Serbia, Stefan the Firstborn. The monastery was destroyed in the 13th century, but was rebuilt by King Stefan Milutin at the beginning of the 14th century.
