Original Apricot Liqueur from the Orthodox Monastery Zica is recognized by its sunny yellow colour, creamy dried flavour and by its sweet and apricot aroma. Made from the best fruit pulp in which the quality and intense aroma of sun-ripened apricot is preserved, this liqueur is the best gift from the Monastery Zica’s nuns who are using these beautiful nature gifts, adding much love and more prayers while producing this miraculous liqueur.
"Liqueurs from Monastery Zica are recognizable by their high content and natural colour of fruits, natural ingredients and long flavor of taste. In psychology, yellow is considered as the most stimulating color. For that reason, sun-ripened yellow apricots grown in Serbia are used to create this bottle of liquesur coloured by optimism and self-esteem, while enriched with love and prayers from nuns in Monastery Zica. "
|The aroma of ripe apricots is dominant. I would recommend it mix it in a cocktail or over ice
The Monastery Zica of Serbian Orthodox Church, located in Central Serbia (close to Kraljevo town), celebrates the national anniversary of 800 years of existence and uninterrupted orthodox religion’s mission at this sacred place. The Monastery, together with the Church of the Savior, was built by the first king of Serbia, Stefan the Firstborn. The monastery was destroyed in the 13th century, but was rebuilt by King Stefan Milutin at the beginning of the 14th century. A lot of reach Serbian history has been written at this place, while nowadays at this quite and peaceful women’s monastery, in love and with prayers live and work nuns who are also main “responsible” artists for beauty, fragrance and taste of all these fruit products.
