Fruit brandy of tawny colour aged in oak and made by distilling ripe quince fruit and honey The Tzuga Quince Brandy is distilled of specific species of quince called „Leskovacka dunja“ (The Quince Of Leskovac). It is grown at the family estate in Banat. 14 kg of ripe quince is used to distill one litre of Tzuga quince brandy. The ripe quince if pitted prior to distilling. It is left to age in oak barrels for 9 months, and afterwards in stainless steel pots.         0,7 l, 40% alc. Colourless and dense fruit brandy made of local quince species Leskovacka dunja od emphasized fruit aroma and fragrance. Leskovacka Quince is a variety of large amount of fructose and very strong fragrance. 10 kilos of ripe quince is needed for 1 liter of quince brandy. After being fermented for a month, quince is distilled in controlled process of distillation, measuring a range of indexes. While double-distilled a distinct taste and fragrance of quince must be preserved. A very modern methods of distillation and aging are applied in order to improve the taste and quality to the best.     Even with my eyes shut, I would have recognized it was quince brandy. It is so typical and warm. This one is well balanced and you feel the quince aroma on your palate long after you swallow your sip. Its taste is a bit sharp and not aggressive, but warning: „I am a pure fruit brandy“.   Winery Vino Kalem from Velika Drenova village from Central Serbia is by far the largest producer of vine and rose seedlings and vine grafts in Serbia. Their winery produces over 10 millions of litres of wine annualy and over 4 millions kilos of fruit is distilled into fruit brandies every year. They are one of the largest producers of fruit distillates. Most of the distillates were exported to Germany, Czech Republic, Poland, France and Slovenia, imroving the taste of the fruit brandies of these countries.     5 l, 40% alc. Yellow fruit brandy very well ballanced and potable, distilled of quince, aged for 3 years in barrels made of Serbian oak. Perun Quince Brandy is made of the famous and very aromatic variety Quince Of Leskovac (Leskovacka dunja). This one is grown in the Eastern Serbia on mild hills at ideal altitude. The quince is grown mature and full of it sweetness. After fermentation it is double distilled in completely automated and controlled process, that crafts brandy of constant quality. Aged in oak barrels for 3 years to become soft, velvety and drinkable. This brandy won a Grand Gold Medal, 75.International Agricultural Fair, Novi Sad 2008.   Unlike its sister, colourless Quince Brandy Perun that aged in stainless steel pots, this one was aged in oak. And oak always calms down its tenant. When you taste both of these, you find out that the yellow brandy is calmer, balanced, pleasant even in the evening, and yet still has profound aroma of fruit it was made of.   Placed in northern Serbian Vojvodina province, Perun Distillery gathers young and enthusiastic team of experienced craftmakers of fruit brandy. Distillation is controlled in automated system of digitalized pots that measure the numerous parameters of distilled brandy until the desired values. That way the brandy always has the same taste. Aging is performed in French oak barrels for at least three years; colourless brandy is aged in stainless steel pots. They keep track of every detail, so even heating of the distillery originates from the energy of distilling.
