Quince brandy with very pleasant fruity fragrance 0.7 l, 43% alc. Aroma of double- distilled brandy Ripe quince is harvested, smashed and left to ferment for at least three weeks. It is distilled and re-distilled in traditional way in order to gain the alcoholic strength. Ripe quince has lower contents of sugar and a lot of pectin, therefore it is not so suitable for fruit brandies. This is the reason why good quince brandy is so appreciated. It really has a very distinctive aroma and aftertaste. I do not recommend it to be drunk after meals, because its sharpness and re-distilled harsh aroma make it an excellent aperitive.
