Billy Gould, basgitarista skupiny Faith No More, mal rád balkánsky región a bol zvedavý na slivovicu a všetky ovocné pálenka. Dlhý čas hľadal po celom Balkáne ten pravý recept. Na základe svojich znalostí a osobného vkusu vytvoril značku slivovice Yebiga a pred niekoľkými rokmi ju prvýkrát uviedol na trh v USA. „Modelka“ na etikete je viac ako 90-ročná babička zo Slavónie, ktorá vo svojej domácnosti páli vlastnú čistú slivovicu.

Billy Gould is responsible for this beauty of Sliovivtz, deep and complex, although it was not aged in barrel. This way Serbian Slivovitz is enriched for another colourless masterpiece. I am always excited to have „white“ (as Balkan people call it) Slivovitz. The one that was not aged in barrel. There can be no cheating, the barrel cannot correct its bad characteristics. And this Yebiga stuff, with its intense note, certainly can be very proud. I enjoyed it. I recommend it to the people who are in love with Slivo. Being in love with Balkans, Billy Gould, bassist of Faith No More, was curious about Slivovitz and all fruit brandy. He was searching for his right receipe for a long time, all accross the Balkans. He created a Slivovitz brand Yebiga based on his knowledge and taste and launched it first in the USA few years ago. Yebiga Slivovitz is born as coupage of the two Slivovitz fractions made of „Cacanska rodna“ and „Cacanska lepotica“ prune variety in Central Serbia. The specific strong, but pleasant flavour is gained carefully by distilliation masters. The Slivovitz is created and supervised as personal brand of Billy Gould, musician and music producer. Yebiga Rakija is a traditional Serbian plum brandy. A true fruit brandy in that there is nothing but the distilled expression in the bottle. Being in love with Balkans, Billy Gould, bassist of Faith No More, was curious about Slivovitz and all fruit brandy. He was searching for his right receipe for a long time, all accross the Balkans.
