Aberlour Distillery is located in the heart of Speyside, Scotland's most important whiskey producing region.   Maybe a few drops of water will be your choice to mix up the whiskey which will make it milder. A whiskey that allows you to enjoy its bold, spicy character and exceptionally clean finish. He won a double gold medal at the World Spirits Competition in San Francisco in 2013. Tasty, spicy, with a touch of vanilla.   Bulleit Rye left me a bit unmoved. With its medium amber in color and oaky aroma makes a good first impression before it's even opened. It is unbelievably soft and will delight you with hints of spices. Bulleit Bourbon Whiskey

It is characterized by a high content of rye for bourbon (about 28% of the mash mass) and an age of at least six years. Bulleit Bourbon is inspired by the whiskey that Augustus Bulleit made more than 150 years ago. Bulleit Bourbon's subtlety and complexity come from its unique blend of rye, corn and barley malts, along with special yeast strains and pure water filtered from Kentucky limestone. It has a bold, spicy character - gentle spiciness and sweet oak aroma, with subtle tones of maple and nutmeg. The finish is distinctly clean and smooth, with a light caramel taste.   I love this one! This was my entry into the world of bourbon and it was like being thrown into the deep pool after tasting other whiskies. Canadian Special Old whisky

    0,7 l, 40% alc. Special Old whisky is an example of an ultra-low cost, entry-level Canadian whisky. This Canadian whiskey is mostly made from a mixture of rye and corn, which gives it a characteristically light taste.   Entry-level Canadian whisky is not something I’d suspect most would be willing to go out of their way to try, but I tasted it. Four Roses Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey

    1 l, 40% alc. Four Roses is created through a sophisticated combination of different yeast strains and grain mixtures. Much like how it smells, Four Roses comes out of the gate with herbal and earthy honey (thanks to the higher rye content), cumin, licorice, fennel, toasted oak, rosemary, and pineapple. The bourbon is at least six to seven years old.   Four Roses Whiskey is easy to recommend, but I just prefer others whiskies.     0,7 l, 40% alc. The Glenlivet Founder's Reserve was first launched at the end of 2014 in honor of the founder of the distillery, George Smith. That year, The Glenlivet Distillery succeeded in realizing its long-desired plan and sold one million casks worldwide, becoming the number one distillery in sale of Single Malt Scotch whisky. At the first encounter, on the nose, you will feel typical fruity notes, with the aroma of sweets and caramel in the background. They are accompanied by aromas of orange, cinnamon and grapes. After the first sip, the palate is dominated by a wonderful, sweet and smooth, almost creamy taste of caramel, apple and pear. After that, aromas of fruit, orange and citrus come to the fore, with a touch of banana and traces of vanilla in the background. The finish is impressive, with a smooth, sweet and creamy taste and aroma of caramel, with some warmth from the oak and malted barley. So soft and sophisticated that it's hard to resist.   Very sweet, but also somehow bitter, a little strange. Good beginner whisky, very accessible due to its thin and sweet fruity nature. Jim Beam White is the best-selling bourbon in the world. Jim Beam White is distilled at lower temperatures, no more than 62.5%. It is four years old and has a high percentage of rye.   This is the baseline of what a Bourbon should be. Sweet, slight charcoal oaky notes. Won't blow you away with complex flavours but nothing off putting either. What you get here is a polished, approachable and very easy to drink whisky.
