Ripe pear is carefully selected, harvested, smashed and left to ferment for at least three weeks. This particular sort of pear is very appreciated among the brandy distillers. And devotees as well. It is distilled and re-distilled in traditional way in order to gain the alcoholic strength. Nice fragrance has to be preserved during distillation.
The production of Old Brandy is set on Zlatibor mountain for a good reason. Due to its height, massive rainfalls and a great number of sunny hours per year, this mountain is covered with thick vegetation and the plum is out of all fruits grown the most.
